Nice and big but 4th of July celebration was not a good experience. Over crowded and there were ALLOT of privates who were disrespectful towards others who they thought were civilians but in reality they were rude to a ssg in civilian clothing! Unacceptable!! Unprofessional!!

Celebrated July 4th here and the experience was amazing besides being sweaty and extremely hit all the time. We were one of the lucky ones to get a spot on the shaded area with our chairs and picnic blanket. There was a concert by Breland which was pretty decent. But the main attraction was the fireworks. It was a beautiful show provided by USO and we definitely appreciated it.

Son graduated from Boot camp here (June 2022). Was a very nice ceremony and was well organized. I have a few complaints about the actual base, well... just one.... nothing opens until 11am and there doesn't seem much to do for families. We had our new soldier for the day on base but, other than the PX, there was nowhere to go and nothing to do. 4/39th however, did a great job in turning civilians into soldiers! In particular, Drill Sargent Maple.

The field was extremely clean. In stands had cover in case of bad weather conditions. There was a blue line onto the road that gave directions to Hilton. Both gate 4 & 2 can be used to enter Hilton Fields, but gate 2 is the easiest right by highway 77

Good afternoon, it is necessary to carry photo identification, passport and / or graduation invitation.
There are a couple hotels right on base but hard to get a reservation, they fill up really fast.
