Do the activities such as zip lining and train ride for kids cost alot?

Depends on your definition of "a lot". Their prices are on the zoo's website. $2 for the train and up to $80 for the zip line.

I would pay the $20 to get the unlimited pass. That way you don't have to worry about having enough money for them.

Another note, you put money on a zoo card that you use to buy attractions at the zoo. They don't take cash or card at the actual attraction, so make sure you've loaded a card before going to the train, etc.

It all depends on want you want.
