The pony rides are being replaced with a petting zoo
I'm curious as to the official answer. My recollection (fwiw) is they are available year round but weather dependent. I was there one sunny winter day, prob about 50 degrees, and surprised to see pony rides closed for "weather" on such a nice day. I doubt that's too cool for ponies but maybe so? Or perhaps the zoo wasn't expecting kids would want to ride on a cool day? To be safe, if you are counting on pony rides and the day is cool, you may want to call in advance.
