Yes I think so. It's an amazing place.
I would say "Yes" but isn't the biggest Zoo in the United States located in North Carolina? I would argue spending the resources on that Zoo in your home State would be a better choice than making the commute to Columbia, SC for a smaller Zoo.
Yes it's fantastic. Just call ahead to see what's open and what's not.
I really loved it. Reminded me of The Bronx zoo in New York. Worth a drive.
I'd say so. Not as good as it used to be but they have a lot of birds and trying to do better now I think. The have howling monkeys. A few apes. Lots of small birds and reptiles. I'd say so for a two hour drive. Especially for small kids.
I was on vacation from Maine and I really liked it. Great and totally worth it if you got kids
