Kids can stay but in my opinion it's not a kid friendly place. Nothing for them to do, not allowed in swimming pool.

Yes... but truly I wouldn't suggest it at all. I mean gold strike isnt a place where you go and they have entertainment for kids the only thing they have if its open is a pool. Otherwise someone has to escort kids through casino area. Even to get to the buffet. Also they let you know its literally illegal to stop at all and bet or play anything with your kid with you or close to you even. So really no its not great for kids neither is horseshoe next door.
