This area is a designated dark sky park, so should be exceptional.
It's one of the most accessible place to watch stars if you are living in Detroit or eastern parts of Michigan. There's a lovely beach and calm lake water to enjoy. One of best places to watch stars in Michigan.
We could see the comet pretty easily tol
The stars are beautiful at night however,going to the beach not so pleasant you have about 20 feet of stones fieldstones I guess hurt at the water's beautiful Amen to that!

Even when not at designated area it was great. Just walk on beach to get away from campground lights
