Port Austin has a great yak rental place. Padddle up to Turnip Rock.
As far as the kayaks and paddles boards not at that park. This weekend or for about a week up in Caseville is the cheeseburger festival which goes from the 10th to the 19th of August. Very busy and very packed. Slow going but I heard fun.

Not at this spot for rentals. If you have your own, this is a great spot. For rentals you want to go the Caseville County Park, there's a beautiful beach here too
