I didn't pick up one rock...this beach cannot compare to lake superior or lake huron!
The higher lake levels have put the stones in deeper water!

In the late Winter, early Spring is the best time to look. Tons of rocks are all over the beach. Once all the campers come it gets picked over and cleared out quick.

There are lots if rocks at VBSP, just not as prevalent as at Lake Superior.
