Once you decide to adopt a pet, and they are still waiting to be spayed or neutered before you can officially bring them home, on average how long does it usually take to get them into a vet to get the surgery done?

We had to wait about two weeks. But our dog had a hernia plus she was an older dog that need to be spayed. She had a litter previously also which might have made it delayed a little longer.

It depends if it's a male or a female dog. Once you do get the dog home after the surgery they can't run around jump around and play

I believe usually about 1 half hour but they will stay in for a few hours for observation
