We enjoy going to Heofts resort in the summer, great campsites with water and optional electric, showers and restrooms. Beach with a bar and restaurant, food stand, arcade bball court, trails, fishing. Friendly locals.
I can only speak to the horseman's camp... the sites are all very very close to each other. The entire park is gorgeous so the views are peaceful serene nature wherever you look :)
