There is tent camping in Long Lake and Mauthe Lake State parks. Tent w/o electric is $18. You can find prices and reservations at WI dnr website.
They do have camping. Be sure to check availability before you go
Yes tent camping is allowed...they also have decent bathrooms and shower facilities...the deer flies are bad...bring spray...
