The road with access to Mauthe Lake seems closed to thru traffic. Is there a way to get to the lake while this road work is being done?

Hwy G is open so you can get to Mauthe. Hwy SS is closed at Hwy GGG. If you go through Dundee to G and head South you should reach your destination.

Go slow and you can get through. We do it daily.

Is the road accessible from the North? You're also not considered through traffic if your destination is on that road.

Only after they're done working for the day.....if you go to Cty G you can walk south on the trail about a mile to the lake...
