You can shoot bb guns anywhere, except around glass and people. Also, don't put your eye out.
You can tote a rifle or shotgun and hunt the pisgah national forest. I wouldn't see where a bb gun would cause issue. Just know where your shooting. Have a good backstop. And clean up after yourself

Paula the area I was in actually it's a pretty straight and down the mountain to get to...info so mean a fairly deep angle. So there are people down by the creek and up on the ridge but not to many trails run through that particular part.
No, it's a national Forest with lots of hiking trails and people everywhere. There are places in Rosman close to Pisgah that has a gun range welcome to shoot there.
I would not think so. As it is a walking trail and no place to safely target practice.
