You can walk your dog without a leash there just may want to carry the leash with you so it doesn't run off or try and jump on people n jump at other dogs that's passing by they may try n bite your dog so you dnt have 2 walk it on one but I'd say I'd recommend you do have fun there its beautiful peaceful and just amazing beauty for the eyes..
If your pet has a propensity for chasing and biting wildlife, other dogs and people, leash laws apply. Remember, its a national park. Don't allow your pet to become food to a bear. Its happens.
You can take your dog with you if they are on a 6 ft leash. The rangers were very nice. But there are some trails that are not dog friendly due to the wildlife in the area.
