Either. It will be pretty much all day so start early.
If you can run up mountainous lands it's a day hike. If hiking a difficult path is strenuous for you and your party it's an overnighter. However you cannot camp this time of year yet. Bring plenty of water stay hydrated. Snacks and your best hiking shoes/boots. It is beautiful. There are shorter trails if you want to hike in less than a day and hang out. Be prepared, there are steep elevations, lots of rocks, cliffs. If you have vertigo, inner ear problems (like myself), or are scared of heights take plenty of breaks and stay hydrated or just don't go. It is worth it if you make it through the entire trail. Bring a party dio not go alone and showing up early in the morning is best. There are guided tours at a certain time of year if you'd rather.
