can you bring your own floats in the lake? or do you need to stay within the roped off areas?

I did see people on floats outside of ropes area,no one seemed to chase them out

You can bring your own and put them in anywhere along the shoreline except within the roped off beach area.

If you're going to the beach you cannot. There's camp ground where people rent kayaks and more.
