Great hiking area/ trails to take your horses if interested. Walk to the second half and their is a tower with a gorgeous view!

Gorgeous place to hike year round with great views and well maintained trails. If you do not know the area stay to the blue trail or you risk getting lost on the many other unmarked trails. Love hiking, mountain biking and trail running here with my dog.

Love to go offroad there. But you run out of trials pretty fast.

Connecticut State Parks and state forests are gems that many residents and non-residents regularly visit to enjoy their unique and varied features. State Parks and forests offers shaded hiking and views that have inspired people for centuries.

No where in Connecticut is atv friendly, People do it but don't get caught. They will impound your quads with out a second thought. Private land use only
The single track mountain bike trails are difficult, rocky and rooted with steep climbs and descents so stay on the paved road or the gravel jeep trails for an easier ride.
