Good park for biking. Good if you want to go to the lake. It's sad how they have let parts of park decline such as the pool area.

It is a good place with all the swimming places and the Marina, but i would rather go to Fall Creek Falls. There is absolutely no service.. on my phone atleast, and i get it you're camping but me as a teeneger would like to keep my streaks and just keep talking and posting stuff. I cant though, so i think Fall Creek Falls is the better option.

So we did the bike trail out and started at the visitor center - went around the campground and to the point and would give it 10 stars if I could. It was mountain biking but on a paved trail the whole way. We had several switchbacks that made for a thrilling ride. There are enough sections of up alternating with down that you don’t have to just keep walking up the hills with your bike and it was about 90 degrees but the entire trail is completely shaded so you were not hot at all.

I always love using the walking trails here. It's a beautiful place that offers nice paved walking trails, as well as, hiking trails. Wildlife can be seen all year around, and there are picnic tables along the paved walking path. There are also restrooms at a few points around the park and a playground, too. I always start my walks at the visitor center, which has a gift shop, bird exibits, and a newer "discovery" building which houses some local wildlife and informational exhibits about Tennessee and the park in particular. I just wish I lived closer, as I would go a lot more often.

Yes. It's great at Devil's Step.
Also the marina down the road ( coming out of the park turn right then next left has a man standing in a boat sign by road) has food and you can get it to go. It's very good.
They Auction off yearly rentals at beginning of season.
R u talking about pool there? If so if u r a camper there it's 2.50 or 5.00 if u r not
I would assume not.
That answer is wrong. We are Monday through Friday. 8 am til 5pm (except for holidays). Saturdays are 8 am til 3pm except for holidays. We are on Central Standard Time. Call for hours on any holiday.
Yes. Most are flat and long
No there is not. There is part of the park called Turkey creek that is primitive at a fraction of the cost. It also has a small bathhouse
There are lots of pavilions to picnic at over looking the water or you can put a boat in and picnic on the actual lake. Does that help?
Usually June it's nice enough to swim May is hit and miss with cold-warm days
How much are the cabins for rent
The ones by the ball field and dog park
Yes
I think its seasonal /weekly
It depends on if you go by boat or by car it's about a 10 minute drive with all the curves.
The pool there is awesome and huge!!!! Regardless how busy it is you have plenty of room !!!!
Ok, ty! My husband and I are new to the area and we were looking for a public swim area, other than a pool, to go spend the day.
I am not sure, we were there in September, and didn't do any pool, or lake activity. Great place though, and I would check out the website, or call them. Most places open their pool in May. Happy swimming!
It is not flat. It is not mountainous like the Great Smokies, either. Hilly, I guess you'd call it.
Not sure, because we were there in a camper. My guess would be yes, since it is a great state park. To be sure, I would call, or check out their website.
I have not seen a pull thru camp sites. Most at the park are made for smaller campers or pull behinds.
Open year-round, the campground has 52 RV and tent campsites. All sites have 30-amp electric service and water hookups. Four sites also have sewer hookups. A dump station is located at the entrance to the campground for self contained rigs. Two centrally located, heated bathhouses provide hot showers and bathrooms. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring with grill. A playground is located within the campground, and several other playgrounds are located throughout the park. The camp store is open year-round and WiFi is available. Cost is $25-35
Thanks for the inquiry, James. We will often run special promotional rates in the winter months. Does that help answer your question?

The pool is closed right now because of lightning damage this past week. I'd call the park to get an answer on that
You will have to call T.F.S.P. Go to TN S.P. and click on Tims Ford to get to there site.
