The pool there is awesome and huge!!!! Regardless how busy it is you have plenty of room !!!!
I am not sure about when the pool opens at Tims Ford State Park. I didn't realize that the park had a pool. We were busy during our stay, and didn't have any discovery time at the park, great place though. I would check out their website, or call for that info.
