This is a split review because on one hand I do love Food City. It's always clean, the people are always friendly, the prices are decent for the most part. My problem comes with the sales they have. The issue is, and yes it's an issue when it happens every single time without fail, when they run a sale for say, a holiday, they always have big price cuts on things and absolutely never have those things in stock. Once they had a big sale on their "That's smart" brand. Literally everything that was on sale was completely gone from the shelves. Yeah I understand people like a deal however I arrived within an hour of the first day of the sale. I came back the next day expecting things had been restocked but no.. and as soon as the sale was over all the sudden so were the empty shelves issue.. its a poor way to make extra money. Lure ppl in with low low prices and then be out of stock so they have to choose the item that's a little bit more. I hope that's not the case. I hope the ordering managers are just really bad at replenishment and understanding how to order extra for sale items.. but it happens frequently. Because of this I don't shop there much, that's poor business.

By far the cleanest, friendliest, well stocked store I have ever been! Our stop going camping at Walls of Jericho and stop on the way back. Kids requested the deli and cafe. Great food and service!

Love almost everything about this store. The cashier up front are so sweet and helpful, the meat department is also good! Literally every department is great except deli and the hot food bar every time I go their I have to wait forever even when the store isn’t busy and no one will even acknowledge that you are standing there. 9 times out of 10 I will stand there for 15 mins with no one saying anything to me and give up and go somewhere else

I was sooo excited when this store first arrived. The food bar was great! The hamburgers were hand-patted, good, old-fashioned burgers. There was actual sausage in the sausage gravy. Fast forward a few months and they're already using frozen burger patties just like all the fast food restaurants. The big hunks of sausage in the gravy are gone. Actually, you only get about 2 tablespoons of gravy on the biscuits now. Is the honeymoon already over????
