Dont think it closes but some of the rides might. I would call to be sure.
It's rain or shine unless there is an out of the ordinary weather event. Downpours do not close the park, but some rides may close temporarily. They post weather info on their Facebook page. I've been to Thomas several times in the pouring rain. Bonus is it cuts down on the crowds!
The Day Out With Thomas event at Tweetsie Railroad is rain or shine. We would close only in extreme weather conditions.
Rain or Shine on the train rides
I do believe the tickets are rain or shine.Normal tickets if it rains they may give you a rain check if they shut the rides down but other than that I don't think for special occasions like Day Out With Thomas that it applies I think it's rain or shine.
