Just took our four year-old and two-year-old grandsons. Get there at 9 when the park opens. Bring a roller cart if you have one. You can ride the bus to the top of the park and then take the walkway back down or ride the bus back down. I do recommend like the other person to bring snacks and drinks. The drinks and food in the park are expensive. We bought two adult meals and two kids meals with drinks and it was around $40. Look at the park schedule of events and see when they're doing special sing-alongs and stuff like that. Our grandkids were worn out by about 2:30 or 3. You can rent a cart at the park. I don't remember how much it is. When riding the train the two-year-old may be overwhelmed. Try to get back in the third or fourth car so the train is not so loud. Take him on the mouse mine train at the top of the mountain first because it's a little small train...
The park doesn't get noticbly busy, in terms of waiting in lines until about 1pm. So if you are there early you won't have any issues enjoying all the attractions. Might want to take the first train ride of the day as many of the other rides and attractions open at 930.
It was cooler earlier this week. Now this weather is crazier than before. We were staying at Mystery Hill close to Tweetsie and we didn't get to stay for the opening because the owners didn't respond in time. I am glad that are getting to go. So pack up your picnic items and drinks. Then have the greatest fun that you can.
I would take them to see the animals first so they will be able to see them without you having to pick them up every exhibit.
Be sure to take food and drinks!! Drinks and food are very expensive!! In the park.
Get there early pack lunch and drinks and have a blast... bring umbrella its bone the weather is crazy up here... you never know. I live right across the street from tweetsie you guys will have the time of your lives
