can you drive hwy9

Yes! It's a beautiful drive! In the park, cars are not allowed on the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive from March- November. But Mt Carmel Highway or Highway 9 is always open to cars.

Yes. It's a great drive.

Yes...we took 9 out of Zion to 89 to 12 to get to Bryce. Takes a few hours if you stop to sightsee along the way. 9 has some great views of Zion. We did the shuttle the first day...great if you're going to do a little hiking.
