I will go there this thursday 4/5/2018, can we walk somewhere in Zion natonal park with my dog? We might arrive there around noon, should we park Springdale parking or Zion parking to take the shuttles?

Plenty to do with your dog. About the construction, it's worse than it sounds. Be prepared to be in a line for 30 minutes or more, just before you enter the park. They will have traffic completely stopped while pouring concrete, so it's down to one lane for cars going both directions.

Springdale has a awesome dog park ir is about a mile long. On the Virgin River. Dogs in the park are allowed on the P'Rus trail only other than that on the black top (Roads) only and this is inforced .On the west side of Springdale there is a Kennel that has a good reputation. Zion is too hot in the summer for dogs best to Kennel them..

I just visited in late March. Expect delays as there is active road construction going on.

Yes there are dog friendly trails and parking in Springdale and riding shuttle is easiest. I suggest walking to shuttle stop 2 and getting on zion shuttle bus there, line at stop 1 is quite long.

Yes! Most of the more strenuous trails are not dog permitted but park at the museum and walk toward the lodge to enjoy some great views!
