Stayed at site 67, great site where itβs close to river access point and not to close to bathrooms. Doesnβt have much natural shade so bring an awning. Also a family of deer came in the morning looking for scraps so be careful leaving food out.

Nice campground with very large spots. The only negative is the bathrooms are smaller and more dated than the Watchman Campground. I would stay at the Watchman if available though this isnβt a bad second choice.

We were lucky to get a site for a few days. Beautiful campground and view on the mountains. The campground itself was clean but the restrooms were the filthiest I've ever been to.

Beautiful! Bathrooms gave running water and hand soap. There are water dispensers everywhere. The view is amazing. Pretty windy so bring stakes for your tents especially in the morning π

There may be sites in the dixie national forest near the park
Reservations on recreation.gov for South Campground open up at 8am local time (Thats 14:00 UTC).
Did you mean Verizon? If so, yes there is. My husband and I both have Verizon and had plenty of service at the campground.
Yes! But there is a statewide fire ban in effect right now and fires are not allowed.
Keep in mind though, that hammocks are not allowed above and type of vegetation, including weeds. It might be best to hang them between your truck and a tree
I've seen people with dogs at the campground. But you should read Zion's rule about pets here: https://www.nps.gov/zion/planyourvisit/pets.htm
Both campgrounds are reservation only. Yes you can wait to see if there is a cancellation. South Campground is scheduled to be renovated in the future. Due to it being connected to the new entrance project, there is some delay at this time.
No there is no power connection
I'm not sure if there is a place, but you could try calling them in advance and they can lead you to the right direction
yes, you can book an RV site at a campground
Check reservation.gov for real time availability. This time of year The Watchmen usually has availability and it's a beautiful camp ground.
reservations are recommended. however, there are a few first come sites available. they are taken quickly. camp host opens at 8:00 am and campers line up for these sites before sunrise. often they are gone by 10:00 am.
You can. The campground next me when I went, the guy was staying in his VW Bus.
yes, there is a dump station. 30ft will be tight in most sites. if you do not have a reservation, get there early (7:00am) Camp hosts will try hard to make a good match for non-reservations.
They have a few first come first serve sites. Cars line up pretty early on the weekends hoping to get a spot. Once you get a spot, the host will come to your campsite every morning and ask if you want to stay another night
I would say ask when you get there, they pretty cool, they'll be able to determine if you can or not. But mostly a yes 85% of times.
There are some showers within about a 5 to 10 min walk. They are with the laundy area underneath the rental shops.
