reservations are recommended. however, there are a few first come sites available. they are taken quickly. camp host opens at 8:00 am and campers line up for these sites before sunrise. often they are gone by 10:00 am.
There's a limited number of sites available and the chance of getting a first-come-first-serve site is very small, especially in the summer months. I recommend you make a reservation.
I pretty much have come to terms there’s no chance of getting fcfs site at either watchman or south campground. So does anyone know any primitive campsites outside the park? Trying to go this weekend
I wouldn't plan on getting a campsite via fcfs. You can reserve a site 2 weeks in advance, go to recreation.gov to make a reservation. You'll want to plan to get the reservation as close to 2 weeks as possible, because it fills up quickly.
Not at Zion. Outside the park not many possibilties to.
Not sure but I think not. Check the web. It indicates if there are fcfs sites.
There is allways a chance but you have to line up verry early. Good luck and have fun.
