On a Friday, what is the best time to get to the park and secure parking? Plan on visit in the morning.

The scenic route in Zion is closed to public traffic. The best place to park is in the town of Springdale right below Zion, with plenty of great shops and restaurant, and plenty parking around. The Springdale Line Shuttle comes every 5-10 minuges at 6 different stops in town, and will take you to the Zion visitor center quickly and easily.

As early as possible, if you get to the park after 8am you will have to park in town and shuttle in. Have fun

Friday through Sunday you would want to get there as soon as the park opens or you can also park at the Visitor Center for free parking if you wish to park inside the park there is a fee to enter and the best place I would recommend to park at would be the museum
