If I stay with friends a mile away and ride my bike to the hotel for meetings, can I safely chain my bike somewhere in the building and feel that its very secure ? (Its an expensive bike)

There were several bike posts outside of the hotel when I stayed there last month. There is also valet service that's on site 24/7 directly outside the hotel.
