Check-in took over 2 hours, but they got us a slightly bigger room. The room was decent, at least. Location sucks except it's within walking distance to the aquarium. Hotel has no parking, only valet, which is $33/day per vehicle. There are plenty of nearby parking garages, but rates get pretty high if you don't just pay for the day and leave your vehicle parked (we ended up parking in a garage for $20/day and walked wherever we wanted to go). Checkout was easy but they tried to send someone to our room (new guests) before we even checked out. Free hot breakfast included with stay. I would probably try to stay elsewhere next time, but it wasn't terrible.

Greeted by the staff and recognized that I was an IHG reward member. They were extremely friendly. Check in was quick and easy. Went to the room. The room was small and the bathroom was extremely tight but it was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I didn't want to get out of it the next morning. Even though I felt the rooms were small it would not deter me from staying at this location again. It was a great overall experience.

I was hesitant to stay here because of the reviews on the reservation site. I even cancelled my full weekend but still had to stay one night due to their policy. I’m glad I got to experience this for myself. The hotel is being renovated and they have signs everywhere but what they have updated is beautiful! Our room was amazing. The front desk staff was more than accommodating and actually went above and beyond for us. The valet was super efficient even with a double line of cars. The breakfast was more than what we were expecting- again because of the reviews. I’m not sure if what others are used to but for the price you pay to stay at a Holiday Inn it was better than the price! I did not get the name of the man at the front desk but he deserves an award of some sort. He was so busy and handled each customer like they were the only one checking in. He was never rushed and took each guest concern or question with a smile. I wish I had not read the reviews and kept this hotel for the weekend and not just one night. Please make sure the front desk staff know how great he made our stay!

Booked this hotel last minute and was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. Marcus welcomed us in late at night and got us on our way, I truly appreciated his hospitality and friendly disposition after a very long day of traveling. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The elevator issue that others described in their reviews was a small issue and we had to wait about 5 minutes on a busy Saturday afternoon. All the hotel and maintenance staff we encountered were friendly and the service was fine. We only did breakfast one morning but the food was fresh and about as good you can get with continental breakfast. The attendants were a little stand offish, but that’s to be expected when 50+ people are trying to start their day (and need something from you) around the same time. You do have to wait for them to refill the food line and with a full hotel I’m guessing showing up sooner is the move if you want bagels/bread. The valets did a good job of being friendly/courteous and prompt as they were physically able to. I did call ahead to get the car when I knew we had a short amount of time to get somewhere. For the location and the amenities I thought this was a great value and would definitely consider it again.

There is a Walgreens on Peachtree... 3 blocks
No
18 minutes walks from bus station and 6minutes in far
No but cabs are usually parked by the sidewalk of the Holiday Inn
the parking here at 111 cone street Atlanta downtown Holiday Inn Express and Suites at our property is $30 per night Unlimited in and out
Valet parking is 30 a night via hotel. Perhaps less if you park yourself but for the convenience it's well worth it. The valets are great.
No shuttle use Lyft or uber. Lyft is cheaper just down load the app and add your credit card info then request a lfyt.
The Peachtree Center MARTA (train) station is with walking distance of the hotel and that will take you directly to the airport.
The Holiday Inn Express Atlanta Downtown is a short walk from Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It would probably take 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Benz for an Atlanta United or Atlanta Falcons game. The hotel is about 0.8 of a mile from the stadium.
It's a 15 minute walk, or you can walk to the Peachtree Center MARTA (train) station, take the train south one stop to the Five Points station, hop on the west train one stop to the Dome/GWCC/ Philips Arena/CNN Center station or two stops to the Vine City station.
