It was JUST OKAY. This was not a good experience. Pros: Conveniently located off I-20. Nice lobby. Great water pressure for bathing. Unfortunately the cons outweigh the pros: First, Im a no smoker and had to request a room change because of the heavy smell of marijuana filling the hallway and eventually my room. The next days, I woke to the strong smell of cigar smoke in my room in this “nonsmoking”facility. This hotel is on one of the busiest parkways in Atlanta. Traffic is nonstop and at a high rate of speed. There are no sidewalks so walking across the street to the convention center or mall is not safe. There is a walk bridge but you have to leave the property to get to it. The service elevator to the road leading to the bridge was down, however; so be prepared if you are planning to shop and carry back heavy items. Also, I was advised after the fact that you now have to request housekeeping services for your room to be tended “because of the pandemic”.

The hotel was the prime location to where I needed to go. I requested an accessible room with roll-in shower but got a tub and shower chair. The accessibility of this hotel is not easy for individuals traveling in a manual wheelchair. It sits on a hill so maneuvering is slightly difficult. Once inside everything is smooth rolling. Close to the Cobb Galleria and Cumberland Mall.

We had some issues, but overall the hotel service was good! The vanity mirror had a frayed cord and caused a spark, and they shut off the water and elevators without notice on 1 day of our 5 night stay for maintenance. We probably wouldn't have noticed except my wife was in the shower at the time and then couldn't get downstairs from the 16th floor to ask about the water. The lobby is nicer than the rooms, which could use a renovation, but were otherwise fine. Use the garage elevator to the mall to access the walkway across to The Battery - it's a pleasant walk.

Positive: The suite was one of the most home-like and comfy accommodations that I¿ve experienced. Check in and out was quick and agents were friendly. Air quality was good (I carry an air quality monitor). Upon arrival room and bathroom were clean. Negative: I asked the front desk twice for a phone that worked to no avail. Also, housekeeping forgot to replace used towels and bed was not made up.
