NO YOU CANNOT!!!! You cannot launch or dock any boat from five islands, please do not listen to Novice Quads. You have to go to Hudson Park Marina if you want to launch or dock a boat. You will be sent away if you try to launch or dock a kayak here!
It would be a risk/chance if you tried. No place to store them. If you could get in the park with the yak you could launch it at the sunbathing beach, but not sure how the city handles unapproved launches. Depending on the city budget and day of week, time of day, etc. there are staff checking permits to access the park or collecting fees at the entrance between Memorial day and Labor day. Another option would be to try at Glen Island County Park.
