Why is almost every picture of the ocean? We all know water is part of life but the life it creates is much prettier. Even a simple moss.

Two answers, choose the one you like. 1. Well, that is based off of your opinion. In general, nature is very beautiful, and the ocean is part of that collection. Not everyone has the luxury of being able to go to the ocean, while the common moss can be found in most Puget Sound neighborhoods. Tourists usually take pictures of unique features that they cannot always see, so when you go to a beach, it makes sense to take pictures of the ocean... I raise a similar situation, would you go to the Olympics to only take pictures of the plane you took to get there? Everyone wants to show off their fascination of unique features (in this case, the ocean), so why not just enjoy it? 2. People like to see the ocean, and it's pretty.

Technically, it's not the ocean, it's the Puget Sound. And the view is amazing.

Maybe because when your surrounded by the people and city all around it is nice to look out the ocean and not feel so suffocated by everything. But there are other things to do and see there and just really enjoy being outside.
