This park has beautiful fountains. They organize great events to share time with the community and to know more things about the park and it's nature.

A pretty park in an urban area. Yes, there were a LOT of people camped out here, but it felt like just people trying to live their lives with what they have, pretty much the same as many cities except I guess more out in the open rather than tucked away like in some cities. It's sad, I wish they had somewhere else to go rather than outside in winter. Not sure what others' experiences were like, but no one 'bothered' me, I had a nice stroll from the convention center to my hotel and enjoyed the walk and the trees.

It takes me more than a month to realize there is such an interesting urban oasis right around my corner. I really like the concept that transforms an otherwise blind spot into a green space (and hopefully less sketchy than it would have been). The park has a very irregular shape and connects several streets within six city blocks behind the convention center, above a short I-5 tunnel. There are plenty of places to sit and relax during the day, although the park is not spared of homeless problems. There is an interesting "waterfall" structure made with big blocks of stones, but when I tried to walk through its base, I found a couple of homeless persons comfortably settled in on the steps.
