Lots of homeless encircle the perimeter of the park,, there are safer parks not far away

Small neighborhood park with a skate park, a playground and a basketball court. Nice walking path around the park. I would give more stars but there are many unsavory characters roaming around, so it doesn't feel necessarily safe for children which is too bad.

Ahh. Good question! Virgil Flaim (1923-2006) He was involved with the Lake City Community Center for 50 years. And served as its Executive Director from 1985-2004. Hope this helps!
