Understaffed every time. They never have enough cashiers and it takes too long to check out.

3 weeks ago I had a cashier that threw my groceries every time he placed them in the bags. I complained of his behavior with a guarantee he would be spoken to. Today, that cashier was a bagger. I brought 2 reusable bags with me which I know can hold all of my groceries. He starts dropping my groceries in one of the bags and I told him not to do that because that is the way things get broken and crushed. He put 3 or 4 things in one of the bags and I told both him and the cashier that my groceries will fit in the two. I told the bagger to stop and I will bag my own groceries. He ignored me and I again I said to stop. He said you want to do your own bagging and I said yes. I shop at this Marianos because it is very convenient for me but I will go elsewhere with this type of irresponsible service. I pay enough money for my groceries that I shouldn't have to bag them too. I would rather travel out of my way to a different grocery store for better service. I spoke to a manager at the store and explained everything and again was told he will get spoken to. If you don't care how you are treated then this is the store for you.

So easy to order and so easy to get your purchases brought to the car and placed in the car. Items were all in good shape. Most items were in stock. You also can say do not substitute which I like since I do not want things replaced with something I may not want.

The self-checkout experience was terrible. Several times detected extra items in the bagging after we scanned them and gave warnings. We had to keep picking up and replacing items and eventually just held one. The Calabrese salami bar code was printed wrapped around the packaging (all of them were printed bad as we found out) and then manual entry failed. We put the salami back and didn't buy. Payment does not support Android cell phone tap and pay. When I paid with a debit card, I could not find a way to bypass the pin in the chip reader and ended up cancelling the transaction by accident trying to bypass the pin. Then on retry it would not accept the chip on my card in the reader and after several attempts asked me to swipe three card instead which worked and then let me bypass with Enter. That didn't work with the chip earlier. This all needs upgrading and possibly better maintenance. Stuff should just work. Not impressed with the prices either.
