This will be my first time to this campground. Will it be difficult traveling the roads in from the highway with a 38 foot fifth wheel? It looks like the roads have a couple tight switchbacks. Thanks in advance.

Yes take rt 52 turn right across RR tracks onto Cherokee Road as you come into northfork follow that road till you come to a fork in the road stay to the right Ashland resort is about four miles on the left. Very nice place. I deliver propane to them and that's the safest route for large trucks

Well worth those few tight turns.. one of the best places we've stayed up there and we've been coming up since 2000!

And definitely call the resort and go by the directions that they specify rather than gps. This is a must!

Take the route that Terry advised. The train tracks are elevated when you turn onto 17 so make sure u dont bottom out.

Terry Snider | Dec 5, 2018

We recommend route 52 to 17 for better roads
