Excellent place to rent a cabin and the folks are very friendly. I go up 4 to 5 times a year. Love it!

Took camper and loved this place. Bathrooms and shower set ups are AMAZING and kept spotless. Only problem is need a bigger camp store! No real grocery for miles!!!

Love this resort, we have tried others by different trail heads and nothing compares. Some might had a restaurant on them but ashland hands down is the best so far.

Had a great time...even had snow as a bonus. Deluxe Cottage was perfect for the 3 of us. It was equipped with plenty of towels and all the necessities for our trip. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be back!!

Two wheel drive quads will have limitations probably to the green trails. The side by sides have incredible capability limited only by the rider. There are three Trail systems you can access from Ashland just about any Trail you desire.
They have 93 octane up the mountain about 10 minutes. It's called WV ATV Resort. Ashland sells 87 only.
That is probably right but the general store they have has things you may need.
Yes, and welcome to ask around.
Just give them advanced notice and they can direct you
No night riding on Hatfield Mccoy's trails
Yes Catholic Rectory Northfork, WV (304) 862-3492
Not sure about whats in kitchen, but I'm sure a microwave and NO linens
Yes take rt 52 turn right across RR tracks onto Cherokee Road as you come into northfork follow that road till you come to a fork in the road stay to the right Ashland resort is about four miles on the left. Very nice place. I deliver propane to them and that's the safest route for large trucks
Absolutely, there's a place up the hill from Ashland. 250 for 4x4 and 365 for sxs
Campground has wifi...and if you're lucky enough to find signal on the trail then you can message back and forth. Trail signal is the tough part to get. Edit: Also, I found that when I was at the campground and trying to communicate with friends back home, it was easier, for me, to use Twitter and just DM whoever I wanted to talk to...messages sent faster. Edit #2: We tried to used walkie talkies, with a 20 mile range, the 2nd time we stayed here and quickly found out that the terrain won't allow communication beyond half a mile typically. I suggest simply setting a schedule and plan a specific route using the trail maps and ride in a group so that way everyone can keep tabs on everyone else in case someone gets stuck or something and tell those who remain at the camp to expect you to return between a certain time and if you're more than an hour late, they can go possibly go search your specific route and check your specified rest stops. Planning is crucial due to comm difficulties.
