Great place, nice, clean, & affordable. Free beach passes to their private beach, & famous seafood restaurant, Mike's ABG, onsite also. Right next to entrance to Island Beach State Park, which has free entrance right now.

Room was clean, nice sitting area in front of room, have been coming here for years annually. Mattresses were hard, needs some updating. Pool was not sufficiently cleaned although we had a little rain in the morning. No more tables with umbrellas, no sitting chairs. We were at pool at 12:30 PM. A lot of sand on the bottom of the pool and bugs on top and along the pool wall. Asked the woman at the desk if someone could clean it and she said it was cleaned at 9:00AM and that’s it. I said as a guest it’s dirty, very rudely she responded it was cleaned. Not the service and clean pool I remembered. I don’t think we’ll be back, very disappointed on this trip.

Decently Priced. LARGE. Has stove top king bed and truly private beach. Pool closed to pandemic. Not as great as staying at a house but definitely nice for a short stay and way nicer than other hotels in seaside

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Island beach motor lodge, we loved it so much we extended our stay! The staff are amazing, the suite we booked had everything we needed and was clean and very comfortable, the close proximity to the beach and the restaurant/ tiki bar were an added bonus... After staying in this area every year for 15+ years, we will be staying at Island beach motor lodge going forward and will not be renting houses anymore and all the stress that comes with renting beach houses.. We have found “our place” in south seaside and we are so happy we have, it’s a hidden jem! We look forward to many more stays and making family memories!
