Loved the history and the overall motel itself was very nice. The room was clean and had two Swans made up on the bed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The motel has a long history and has done a nice job of keeping the rooms up to date and clean. I was happy there was a tub in the bathroom and it also had a microwave and fridge! The pool area was nice with plenty of seating and sunshine. The only negative of my overall stay was the bed was a bit uncomfortable. A quick fix for this could be a mattress topper! Other than that no issues and I will be staying here again when I'm in the area. The stay includes beach badges and early access to the pool which was an awesome perk!

Money grab, flee bag motel. Don't recommend. Horrid owner claims 2 week cancelation policy. Place was a disgusting dirt hole. The attitude of owner was vile and grubby. I had planned to stay one night, and cancel next night - owner refused. Never seen such an awful place. Once I saw how dirty and unpleasant everything and everyone was, I didn't feel safe there. Worried about bedbugs and the safety of my car (or myself). The fact that she wouldn't let me cancel my 2nd night with 24 hours notice showed me how these people do business. Save yourself the trouble and pay a few extra dollars for somewhere fair, reasonable and clean. Even to find the lobby was like one was walking into the ice machine room.. so gross. Then there's the miserable owner. Yikes

Great location. Very clean. Nice sized refrigerator and microwave. Only a few issues we had was it was very noisy thru the walls both nights 3&4 am/people coming in. Hardly any outlets in the room/none i could find in bathroom. Had to blow dry hair at the tv outlet. No coffee maker, free coffee in office but office didnt open til 9am earliest and i was out both days before 8.

Ive been coming since 2018. So glad I stumbled upon Charlroy! Great location, steps away from the beach, close to the boardwalk! 5 minute walk to the bay for sunset! Staff has always been professional and welcoming. Cleaning staff always does a great job. Be back at the end of June!
