If you are renewing your regular driver's license to upgrade "First time" Enhanced driver's license, you must make an appointment to do it. It is taking a lot of time to set up an appointment.

I had to make an appointment to renew/upgrade my license to Enhanced this year, since the time are very different now. If you aren't changing anything in your license I strongly recommend just doing it online. If you do have to make a change you can do the eye test in office, it only adds 10 seconds to the whole thing. I went in late November and the whole process took about 45 minutes including waiting times, on the whole not too bad
If you have the results then you might as we bring them. That cuts alot of B.S. out and saves you ALOT of time !!!!! and, in general, you do not have to make appointments, usually its just a walk-in process. But with COVID , You may need to now... So I would call or visit the website to make Absolutely sure !!
