They serve it hard boiled on purpose. If you read the signs at the restaurant it is meant as an appetizer for the ramen and not made like a ajitamago (like other ramen restaurants) It doesn't need to be peeled and comes in a small dish in a tiny bit of ramen broth.
You need to pay extra and it's not soft boiled correctly. You also need to peel the shell off.

The egg was still hard, that was disappointing. It was me, may be others might have had good luck with the eggs.
