If I paid a $100 for renewal of my registration in Newark NJ DMV when will I get the registration card and can I drive with the Pink receipt slip

If you renew at the agency everything is completed there and you should be good to go - if you renew online you just have the receipt but it is done . You are registered BUT you do not have the registration IN YOUR POSSESSION so if stopped you might get a ticket for that but no tow. The pink window card is 14? Day inspection card car needs inspection before it expires

I'm not familiar with the online service but I would think within 14 days and you may have to call the agency to confirm if its okay to drive with the slip. There should have been a digital copy that you can present if you have to drive while waiting but I'm not associated with DMV so I really cannot tell you for sure.
