My spouse and I are purchasing a car that we were leasing. I am the owner. She is the co-owner. We have to complete the title transfer in person. My question. Do we both have to go? Or can just one of us go to DMV?

Only one of you needs to show up. Both signatures need to be on the title.

If you can fill out the forms and sign it beforehand, I don't believe you have to both be there in person.
