If I live in Denver but my license shows a Lakewood address can I still get plates here? Or do I need to go to a lakewood office?

You must do the plates in the county you live in. It doesn't matter what address your DL/ID shows. You just tell them your current address and if its Denver county, they help you. If not, they will direct you. Hope this helps.

If you now live in Denver, you can use this office. They can update your registration to reflect that new address.

I live in Denver and go to the Bear Valley office in Lakewood which is Jeffco. I don't think it matters because license plates are state bad not City or County.
