Yes. I have heard the services are great. It's called JPS Health Network. You apply and your medical needs and meds will be discounted to $1-$5 for doc visit and prescribed meds

Yes, they can. They're connected with MHMR of TX and John Peter Smith Hospital and most definitely do assist special needs clients

Well to be honest with you I have been there multiple times in person. They were not really that great at doing much for people without what you call special needs. In my opinion everyone that goes there for help has special needs. They can be real uncaring of the situation that people are in while trying to make you feel like you are not worth the time to be talked to respectfully. They tend to be short and pushy with people there that need help and don't seem to care how hard it may have been for that person to get there. You probably need to go to the JPS clinic for the special needs and and not stand in that horrible long line that goes around the corner just so you can get shook down like you are a criminal.

It also depends on what special needs your friend has. If they aren't able to help I'm sure they will be able to make the appropriate referral.
