How do you run the place? How did you domesticate the wolves, while still letting them be somewhat wild? I want to start a wolf sanctuary and I want to know more.

Hello Wolf Lover, This is a very common misconception all of the sanctuary animals are genetically wild or wild/domestic hybrids. Domestication is a process of deliberate selection of animals that have decreased flight distance and more familiarity towards humans "more friendly". Domestication can take numerous generations of deliberate breeding, which could take decades to centuries to achieve a truly domestic animal. A wild animal will be a wild animal for it's entire life and never be domestic. Wild animals can be tamed, which is an extensive process of training.
