We are members here and this visit we attended a members only event (a birthday party for the 10 year old cougar). They are a wild animal rehabilitation center. Most animals are treated and released back into their normal habitat. Those with issues that prevent release are kept as "animal ambassadors" and used to teach the public about animal conservation and promote appreciation of wildlife. The park is clean and well managed and the animals are skillfully and lovingly cared for. This a wonderful place to spend family time--both fun and educational for all ages.
beautiful weirdo
I didn't take many pictures but this place is a gem in grants pass. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals. They have a pond with lots of different ducks and you can buy food to give them. Great place to bring kids or if you are an animal lover.

We found an injured hummingbird, called them and they said to bring it in. We made a donation, $$$, toured the facility and had a wonderful time. Unfortunately the bird had to be euthanized. They were kind and compassionate. Give them a call.

Oh no, Can you give us a call at 541-476-0222 and we can give you instructions on how to get the little guy in here?
Hey Mandy! Oh no! Poor little guy. We can rehabilitate squirrels! Can you give us a call at 541-476-0222 and we can get some details on the squirrel?
It's a beautiful guided tour. The docents are knowledgeable and can answer any questions. Bring your camera!
Yes, but it is totally worth it to see the animals and support the conservation efforts.
Not a lot. It's not huge, but there aren't benches to sit on.
Hi Cynthia, take exit 61 to Merlin. Take a left on Merlin-Galice road. Travel about 4 miles and take a left on Robertson bridge road. Travel to the second stop sign and take a left onto Artlin. Then take a left onto Lower River road. Wildlife images will be directly on the right hand side. It is a tour guided facility so call in advance!
