Very rude, hardly said 2 words and acted like we knew nothing. ( former rehabers) Asked for donation but failed to offer or give a receipt (required). Will never take another critter to them...will also notify IRS as to their " no receipts "... great way to fund your own pockets by not reporting it in your required tax, non profit statis.

They were completely professional and amazing! Our cat found a rabbit nest and killed all but 1 little guy. She did bite him a few times. He was injured and we had no idea what to do. My daughter called our vet, who suggested the center. We called, they said they had room and we were on a road trip. When we got there, they took the little guy, looked him over and put him in an incubator. They were getting ready to give him antibiotics when we left. People and places like this are such a wonderful blessing. We made a donation, but I wish we could've afforded more.

I added my review, or so I thought. Most ppl dont think to add a review for a wildlife rehab center. I have dealt w/ them many many times, I've seen these women a handful of times in action, more behind the scenes & Ive always been nothing less then amazed! I have always been pleased w/ the 3 main ladies (owners) & all of the volunteers, they're very professional, knowledgable & very compassionate about the service they provide everyday to these wild animals. At various times things can become very stressful, they handle every situation the best they can & do a damn good job! One will never find another rehab center comparable to this one & not ever encounter such strong caring women like these 3. They work their tails off to keep the place clean, organized, up & running. Not to mention they work outside the center to keep it funded & afloat, not nearly enough donations are rcv'd to financially support, lucky if anyone donates at all. Hard working caring dedicated & amazing!!

Anyone willing to come pick this possum up and take it to Wild Life? Not sure how much time they have left. I found it 2 hours ago. Bottom jaw broken. Punture wounds on sides. Still breathing but not moving. 😥

Do you rehab raccoons from Calhoun county?

No, they do not.

Are there any rescues that would take a baby mouse to rehab (not euthanize or feed to other animals)?

Don't see why wildside wouldn't. Give them a call and ask. They're very helpful

We have a skunk problem in a highly populated area. We saw three at dusk last night at dusk. Can you remove these to a more appropriate setting?

No they only rescue animals not trap them, try putting your trash cans and other things like that in your garage for a few weeks, if it's a mom and babies eventually they will move on just keep a food source away from them

Do they take in pinkie baby opossums?

I know they don't take deer, ducks, and raccoons (other rescues take those) but I think they do take opossums. There are several pictures of them. I always call before I go. I've taken injured birds and squirrels. If your concern is how small they are, there are people who volunteer to bottle feed. Having said that, please be sure their mother is really gone before you pick them up and turn babies with a mother into orphans. Just watch them for a little while. She may be out getting food.

Will they take in pinkie baby opossums?

Please be sure their mother is really gone before you pick them up. Watch them and watch for her return. While there are volunteers that bottle feed orphans, it's better not to turn an animal into an orphan when it really does have a mother. She may be out getting food.

They aren't really set up for tours, but you can volunteer, and then you'll be able to handle all kinds of animals.
