They will fail your car, but you have 30 days to make the repair. Its better to drive with a rejected sticker than it is to ride around with an overdue sticker and get a ticket

My father's car failed inspection. He was told to perform a "drive cycle," which would "reset" the OBD. The report also says "Primary Emission Test Performed: OBD - Fail." Once the "reset" occurs, would the emission test FAIL change to READY?
