Can i get my car inspected here if my car tag and registration are from NC state?. I called my local DMV at NC and explain them my car is currently in NJ, they say I can have it inspected in NJ and fax it to NC state DMV. So can i bring my car here?

No,you need a car registered on the state of NJ.

No only inspects for emissions. I wouldn't think that the inspection in NJ, would be acceptable in other states.

I'm not quite sure but seeing as you live that close it can't hurt to drive down there to find out
